Double Attack

There is another variation of Blackjack - Double Attack Blackjack.

Double Attack Blackjack is played with the tens removed, so we have 48 cards in each deck - 2-9, Jacks, Queens, Kings and Aces.

You can find this version in Atlantic City casinos, where it's very popular, played with six or eight decks.

Just like in regular Blackjack, the goal of the game is to get 21 points, or closest to that without being busted. Most of the rules are the same. However, if you get a blackjack, your payout is 2:1.

Additional Bonuses

There is an additional bonus bet in Double Attack Blackjack - the player can bet that the dealer will be busted with three cards.

After seeing the dealer's face up card, the player can make this bet, and the payouts are depending on the dealer's third card:

The Rule of the Eight

Eights are another specific issue in the game - if the dealer has an eight, and gets another one as a third card, in the same color, or even in the same suit, the player will get a special bonus - in case of a same color, 50:1, and in case of a same suit, 200:1.
